Not taking it personally

“If you really believe in what you’re doing, work hard, take nothing personally and if something blocks one route, find another. Never give up.” Laurie NataroLau

The last few weeks have been challenging.

My business partner and I have been working really hard to promote our Hidden Gem Mini Retreat and as of right now, have only sold 1 ticket!

Yes… I’ve felt frustrated and discouraged.

It’s felt like opening my heart up to the world and not having anyone take what I’m offering.

I’ve been asking myself questions like…

What am I doing this for?

What’s the WHY that’s driving me?

What’s wanting to happen here?

What might be another way?

What am I not seeing?

Yes… these questions help me to shift into another perspective.

It’s not personal.

I realize that it’s not about me.

It’s about staying focused on my bigger purpose and being flexible about the route to getting there.

I just haven’t found the right door yet.

And… I have to keep trying.

In order to keep going, I have to let go of taking it personally AND attaching to it looking a certain way.

It requires a lot of letting go.

There is an invitation to leave my ego at the door and try another way.

Which opens up a lot of experimentation and play.

What would be possible if I didn’t take it personally or attach myself to the outcome?

What would I create?

These questions open up a whole new world of possibility for me…

It’s time to go create!

How about you?

What are you creating?

Are you focused on your WHY and experimenting with different paths to getting there or do you find yourself stuck and unable to move yourself forward because you hit a roadblock on the path (maybe a self-imposed one?)?

If you find yourself stuck and wanting some support in helping you to find another route, I’d love to chat with you to see if I can help guide you to a new path.

PS As part the experimentation process, we decided to create a video to invite people to a taster experience. It was so much fun! I’m noticing that when I don’t take it personally, it opens up so much space for creativity and fun!

PSS There is still time to register for our Hidden Gem event! If you are a woman who lives in the Denver area and have interest in slowing down and creating deep and meaningful connection with yourself other women, this event is for you! Simply click here to register!
