Reflections from the Year

This will likely be my last post in 2018.

I’m getting ready to leave the country for two weeks and I’m planning to disconnect from cell and internet while I’m away.

I’m going on a 5 day backpacking trip in Patagonia and spending some time exploring the surrounding areas while I’m in South America.

It feels surreal that this is actually about to happen.

Seems fitting to end the year this way, given the kind of year I’ve had...

Move to Colorado,

Purchase a pop up camper,

Land a dream job in a Company that seems to be a great fit, in an industry that I’m really passionate about,

Buy a new house,

Travel to Patagonia.

It seems surreal to even write these things down, let alone share them with you.

How did this all happen?

When I started this year, I had no idea how these things would come to fruition.

I had a vision of them becoming a reality, but had no idea how they would actually manifest in my life.

It’s been an interesting process to witness…

(a wild ride feels like a more accurate description😲)

One I don’t fully understand, and am definitely not able to articulate!

Although I like to try😉.

Even so, I have a felt sense of a few things that contributed to my current reality…

Having a clear vision,

Believing it’s possible,

Engaging courage to take the next steps,

Staying open and flexible to the how,

Letting life unfold… in it’s mysterious and miraculous way.

Yes… these things seem to have played a part in this process.

Now, it’s time to let it all settle in.

I’m looking forward to some time away to reflect and re-focus.

I have no idea right now what I want for 2019 and want to take some time to consider this.

I want to appreciate the milestones that have taken place this year, and consider a vision for 2019.

How about you?

What are you celebrating about 2018? Do you have a vision yet for the New Year?

As always, sending you support and love on this journey.

Here’s to your vision becoming a reality!

In Ultimate Support of You,

PS Given my next post will likely be Friday, January 11th, there will be no new podcast episode in January. I look forward to sharing a new episode with you in February.

PSS Happy Holidays! Look forward to sharing some pictures with you from my trip when I return! The picture in this post is a stock photo from Torres del Paine National Park in Chile, the park where I will be backpacking😊.
