The Snow Falls

I just wrote a blog post that I’m less than thrilled about.

It doesn’t feel real enough for me.

It will get the job done but isn’t lighting me up.

So, I’m left here thinking out loud about what it is I want to share with you.

What feels important for me to say this week?

As I think, I’m looking out my office window into our backyard noticing the sun shining on a whole bunch of fresh fallen snow on the ground with some big, tall trees in the background with branches topped with snow.

What does this have to do with what I want to tell you (I’m asking myself)?

Nature always reminds me of the simplicity of things...

The snow falls.

The sun shines.

The trees grow tall and lose their leaves.

The night comes… and darkness takes over.

And this all happens over and over again.

Without any effort or thought on my part.

I can get so caught up in all the many things I have to do and all the many ideas and thoughts that run through my head, and yet… when I look out my office window at the snow and the sun shining, and the big, tall trees in the background, I’m reminded of the simplicity of things.

Maybe it’s just me that makes things complicated.

Maybe it really is simple...

The snow falls.

The sun shines.

The trees grow tall and lose their leaves.

The night comes… and darkness takes over.

Could it really be that simple?

What do you think?

What are you getting from me sharing my thoughts aloud with you?

While this post doesn’t feel super juicy, there is a truth (and a realness😉) here that feels palpable to me.

And… it feels like nature is calling me to explore this some more.

Time to head out in the snow!

Until next time my friend.

In Ultimate Support of You… always!

Katharine
